“protect and preserve ancestral whenua for future generations ”

About Us

Whenuakura Whānau Trust was established in 2021 with a heartfelt mission: to protect and preserve ancestral whenua for future generations — our mokopuna. This whenua has been cherished by our whānau for many generations and the Trust was formed to ensure it remains in our care for generations to come.

One of our key aspirations is to develop a papakāinga — a living community on our whenua, with a focus on providing affordable rental housing for whānau. We're also committed to giving back through initiatives such as scholarships, employment opportunities and improving financial literacy within our community.
